Dear Friends,
I am pleased to announce that Marin Community Farm Stands is opening our newest farm stand in Forest Knolls at the former Forest Knolls Garage and Gas Station. The address is 6700 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Forest Knolls CA 94933.
This farm stand will serve as a headquarters for all of our satellite farm stands and it
will operate as a year-round farm stand and CSA. Our existing farm stands will continue operating in Ross, San Anselmo and Woodacre as seasonal markets. No matter where you are in Marin, you can shop fresh every day as you commute, run errands, visit the shore, go for a walk in Taylor Park, or meet up with friends!
We are calling our new farm stand "The Farm Stand" and it will offer the finest produce and products that are seasonal, organic and locally grown. We will be expanding our offerings through use of our refrigerated cases inside.
I am planning for a soft opening starting this Wednesday June 11, 2014, relocating the San Geronimo Organic Farm Stand over to our new site.
Each Wednesday the SGV Organic Farm Stand will be operating at 6700 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
In the weeks to come expect to see announcements for new Saturday and Sunday farm stands which will be added to the schedule. A grand opening celebration will come later this summer.
The Woodacre Organic Farm Stand will continue to operate in downtown Woodacre every Saturday. We will have two farm stands operating on the same day on Saturdays. Stay tuned and watch The Farm Stand come to life!
